3rd - 5th Grade
Bethel Community Education’s 3rd-5th grade program equips learners to own their learning as they take on more responsibility and ownership. They will grow in their confidence to advocate for themselves, their peers and their community. Learners continue to explore who God is, develop the gifts they have been given, and recognize they are daily invited into Kingdom work.

Curiosity and Wonder
Bethel 3rd - 5th Grade Learners
Discover more about the characters within the Bible, and how each of those characters interact and connect to create the biblical story.
Advocate for themselves, ask for help, and locate alternate sources of information for assistance if necessary to help solve problems to create a growth mindset.
Delve further into written communication skills with others including grammar, spelling, and storytelling, as well as their own areas of interest through a chosen extracurricular activity.
Collaborate with their peers to learn how to actively participate and listen during a discussion, compromise with contrasting viewpoints, and solve problems together as part of the Explorations program started in our Preschool curriculum.
“Unprompted, these kids see the needs of others and help each other no matter their age.”
